Information

Iridescent Skies was born on April 14, 2007 but it wasn't open until April 16, 2007. This site strives to provide visitors with quality icons for them to use (with credit of course) on their blogs, Livejournal, etc. I actually don't care if anyone uses them or not. This is just a place for me to display the icons I have made. So if no one uses them, fine. I use them for my own use so the icons are not going to waste. :D

As you might know, I have owned graphics sites in the past. You might have known me from such sites as Dreamy Stars & my most recent one, Amaranthine Designs. Now I can't say they were all failures but they were pretty bad. I was always to lazy to do complete revamps and some of the sections seem dead for long periods of time especially the premade layouts section. Call me greedy or whatever but I HATE making premades. I have nothing against making layouts, I love making them but premades? Gah. I just couldn't make them, I don't know why.

However I did love making icons and I do make some every week or so. I actually put my effort into making them not like my premades, which were mostly just a few textures and an image slapped onto it. They were just plain disgusting and never like the layouts I make for myself. Iridescent Skies came to be because I wanted to show people what I loved making, icons.

The name, Iridescent Skies was used because when I was planning to make this site I was in love with the word. So of course I had to use it and I couldn't think of anything else. xD; The word Skies was inserted after Iridescent because I didn't want to use Designs since this site isn't offering any premades. I just liked the sound of these 2 words put together so that's why.

Current Layout

The current layout features the anime Sister Princess. PNG was found at Sorrowful Memories. Textures came from Spectral Creations & Reminiscent Designs.
